Lay flat

Brackets will not allow folded legs to lay flat.

David I am sorry that these haven't worked like you expected. Let us know if you want to return them.

Best Part of the Furniture Piece!

I bought these hinges to do a “poor man’s” murphy bed and these hinges are the strongest and nicest part of the bed! I used gate hinges to attach a 3/4” 48x72 ply to a low 72” long dresser. I used these locking leg hinges to the underside of the ply to add 2x2 legs that fold flat to the ply when the “bed” is in its up position (secured to the wall with a strong bungee, carabiner clips, and eye bolts in the wall studs), but stay SECURELY locked in place when it is in its down position. Now my spare bedroom is a very roomy playroom for my grands until I need it to serve as a bedroom for their parents! I am VERY happy!!

Better than expected

These hinges were larger and better than I anticipated. As a hobbyist woodworker I am excited to find a place to purchase unique and better quality hardware than what little they have at the orange big box store. Thanks for including the catalogue! I am looking forward to seeing everthing you carry and making my shopping list for my next project: a Murphy Bed for my son.
