I needed to replace the cheap wood underneath my whiskey oak barrel chairs, as the casters were falling out and wallowing the holes to the point of splitting, that were supposed to hold them in place. I believe they were 2”x4”x2’, from 4 pieces of pine glued together. (Total garbage!) So I decided that I needed stronger 2”x4”x2’ pieces of red oak. I saw the Bear Hollow Supply website and found exactly what I was looking for. I ordered the twelve pieces that I needed, but wasn’t sure of the quality I’d be getting. When my order arrived five days later, I was very pleased and impressed! The quality was impeccable with no flaws, and the dimensions were spot on! OK so and S4S 8/4 piece of red oak. 24" I want it to be of size so I can use it as a sacrifice block to work my wrap around for a door lock project. It was to spec, came quickly and the on line shopping experience was perfect. I highly recommend these folks
