Our Hard Maple Lumber Has Been Surfaced On 4 Sides and is ready for your project.
Hard maple lumber is unique in the way that most commonly used is its sap wood rather than its heartwood. It can have a nearly white appearance to off white cream color to it.
Hard maple is fairly easy to work with, however it is more dense than say soft maple and may prove to be a little more difficult when using hand tools or chisels. Lumber will vary from board to board. Our maple is all s4s furniture grade lumber. S4S means it has been surfaced on all four sides meaning you will get a nice board with clean straight edges.
